At Unique Cotswold Cottages, we aim to use local suppliers and trades, whilst also sourcing UK made products where possible.

We use local, recommended chimney sweeps, window cleaners, electricians, builders and plumbers etc.

Logs are sourced from local tree surgeons who are selling it as a bi-product of their trade rather than cutting trees down purely for the supply of logs.

At all of our properties, we provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from Faith in Nature. Their products are natural, cruelty-free and ethical. Their production facility is in Lancashire, UK, using the water from nearby Lake District. What's more, they use 100% recycled and recyclable bottles and plant a tree for every product bought.

We have recently installed EV chargers at two of our properties: Hideaway Cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water, and Honey Pot in Chipping Campden. We use low energy light bulbs in all properties and have thermostatic radiators and Smart heating controllers where we can in each property.

Whilst renovating the last property, Hideaway Cottage, we donated numerous household items and furniture to the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
